Sister Maxine Tancraitor, C.D.P.

Sister Maxine is a member of the Community of the Sisters of Divine Providence located in Pittsburgh, PA. She has been a Religious for 65 years.  Sister graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with a Bachelor Degree in Education and a Master Degree in Education  Administration. 
Sister taught Junior and Senior High School in Pennsylvania and Michigan.  In 1962 she was off to 13 years in the missions of Puerto Rico where she was a teacher in the High School, then Principal for 10 years in Junior and Senior High School.  After leaving Puerto Rico and returning to Pennsylvania, Sister worked 20 years in Pastoral Ministry at All Saints Parish in Etna, PA.  In 1996 Sister Maxine began work in the Diocese of Charlotte, NC, working in Monroe and its' 4 Missions. In 2001 - Diocese of Raleigh - she was assigned to Immaculate Conception Church for Pastoral  Ministry and Faith Formation.
