Sister Theresíne Gildea, C.D.P.
Sister Therísine is a member of the Sisters of Divine Providence for 57 years. The Community is located in Pittsburgh, PA. Sister received her Bachelor Degree in Education from Carlow University in Pittsburgh and her Master in Education and Counseling from Inter Americana University of Puerto Rico.
Sister was a teacher in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Always wanting to be a Missionary, she was sent to Puerto Rico in 1965. She was a Teacher, Principal and Counselor during her 10 years on the Island. Next adventure, Sister worked in Arizona with the Native Americans and Mexicans. Returning to Pennsylvania she worked 20 years in Pastoral Ministry at St. Joseph in Verona, PA. 1996 Sister began work in the Diocese of Charlotte at Our Lady of Lourdes in Monroe and the Mission Churches. In 2001 Sister began her new work at Immaculate Conception Parish in Clinton in the Diocese of Raleigh working with both the English and Spanish Ministry.
